Job Title: Pool Car Driver

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pool Car Driver to safely operate and manage the company’s pool vehicle(s).
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of staff, documents, and materials, ensuring the proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle, and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive company pool car(s) to designated locations as assigned.
  • Transport staff, clients, documents, and materials in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults, damages, or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Comply with all road safety rules, traffic regulations, and company driving policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation of vehicle movements, including signing of movement logbooks.
  • Monitor vehicle documents such as insurance, roadworthiness, and registration, and report renewal dates.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items when required.
  • Carry out minor vehicle maintenance such as checking oil, water, and tire pressure.
  • Run official errands as directed by management.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and write and maintain basic records.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and follow instructions.
  • Good knowledge of major routes and locations within the area of operation.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
