Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, services, and contracts in line with project specifications and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage procurement activities for construction and design projects.
  • Source suppliers, contractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Evaluate quotations, prepare comparative analyses, and recommend cost-effective options
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and service providers
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier databases
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to project sites
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms
  • Work closely with project managers, finance, and site engineers to align procurement with project needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying (mandatory).
  • Professional certification or membership (e.g., NIQS) is an added advantage.
  • 2–5 years relevant experience in procurement, construction, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation tools.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to details.
