Job Summary
- We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality science education.
- The ideal candidate will teach both theoretical and practical aspects of biology, inspire students’ interest in life sciences, and support their academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology in line with the approved curriculum
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans
- Conduct laboratory practicals and experiments safely
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Maintain accurate student records and reports
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Promote a safe and disciplined learning environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in: Biology, Biological Sciences, Biology Education or a related field
- 2–3 years teaching experience (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology
- Ability to conduct and supervise laboratory practicals
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Added Advantage:
- TRCN registration
- Experience preparing students for WAEC/NECO examinations
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and lab safety standards.
