Job Title: Growth & Sales Executive - Marketplace

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid - Thrice a Week at the Office)

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a results-driven Marketplace Sales & Growth Executive to drive order generation and onboard organizations onto our marketplace.
  • This role is focused on revenue growth, partnerships, and converting leads into active customers—especially for our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and outright purchase offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive daily order generation on the marketplace.
  • Identify, target, and onboard organizations and corporate clients.
  • Promote and sell Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and outright payment solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and pitches to potential clients.
  • Convert leads into paying customers and close high-value deals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase marketplace transactions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat orders and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, customer service) to ensure smooth onboarding and fulfillment.
  • Track performance metrics and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to improve product offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years experience in sales, business development, or marketplace growth.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Strong experience in B2B sales or corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
