We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer / Technician

Locations: Sagamu - Ogun, and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)

Role Summary

  • We are seeking motivated and hands-on Mechanical Engineers/Technicians to support the day-to-day maintenance and operational efficiency of mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility.
  • The successful candidates will carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and ensure machine reliability in line with production requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilties

  • Participate in the planning and execution of mechanical maintenance strategy for critical manufacturing equipment and utilities
  • Participate in the installation, qualification, and lifecycle management of mechanical assets in accordance with cGMP, WHO and NAFDAC standards.
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical systems including HVAC, compressors, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Perform root cause analysis on mechanical faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance routines are executed and properly documented.
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and validation activities.
  • Maintain mechanical documentation, including logs, drawings, and SOPs.
  • Ensure mechanical systems comply with safety and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to reduce downtime.
  • Interface with validation, production, and quality assurance teams during equipment commissioning, performance qualification (PQ), and requalification.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / OND / /HND / B.Eng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing production environment.
  • NABTEB.
  • Trade Test 1,2 & 3.

Key Competencies:

  • Good understanding of industrial mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with routine and emergency maintenance.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP, safety, and quality standards.
  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
