Job Title: Senior Human Resource Consultant
Location: Abuja (FCT), Nigeria
Description
- We are seeking highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven professionals with demonstrated expertise in Human Resources management and organizational development.
- Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership in the design, implementation, and optimization of HR systems and frameworks, as well as the use of people data and insights to drive workforce performance, inform organizational strategy, and strengthen overall organizational effectiveness at scale.

Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years at a senior or advisory level, preferably within the non-profit or development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR advisory, including workforce planning, organizational design, performance management systems, and talent development.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HR policies, frameworks, and systems that align with organizational and donor requirements.
- Strong experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and handling sensitive HR matters with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Experience supporting or leading change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices in employee engagement and retention.
- Experience working in multicultural and multi-location program environments, with the ability to provide remote and on-site HR support.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide insight-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, provide high-level advisory support, and influence decision-making.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information in complex and sensitive situations.
