We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, TB Cash Management / Subsidiary Business - Transaction

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develop and drive Transaction Banking Cash Management, Trade, and Value Chain Management products strategy across FirstBank subsidiaries.
  • Identify and deliver new innovations and potential FinTech Partnerships to enhance the Transaction Banking value proposition to prospective clients in Nigeria and the Subsidiaries.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagements in the deployment of technology-driven TB product platforms and solutions in Nigeria and to the subsidiaries.
  • Oversee the implementation of bespoke product solutions to address various clients’ needs across FirstBank subsidiaries and Nigeria to deepen market share.
  • Ensure the effective management of Escrow accounts bank-wide
  • Supervise the resolution of platform and IT-related issues escalated from TB coverage units in Nigeria and the subsidiaries.
  • Oversee data mining and production of TB MIS reports from TB products reports from the subsidiaries.
  • Develop, train, and build competencies in the coverage teams for sales support to the bank’s strategic wholesale clients across the subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate the circulation of strategic business market intelligence of top clients for targeted marketing by the coverage teams.
  • Responsible for coordinating mandatory regulatory engagements for Product/solution approval with the Regulators.
  • Implement relevant controls to ensure products are delivered with no regulatory infractions.
  • Provide periodic management reports on activities of the unit at management review sessions (MPR, QPR, etc.)
  • Articulate and present to executive management the contributions and performance of the TB coverage teams to the bottom line of the subsidiaries during the annual strategy sessions of the subsidiaries.
  • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.

Job Requirements

  • Education- Bachelor's Degree. A Master's degree will be an added advantage
  • Experience- 10+ years of banking experience overall.
