We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nursery / Primary Teacher

Location: Benin (Airport Road) - Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• The role includes managing the classroom environment and ensuring effective learning outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Prepare lesson notes, teaching aids, and instructional materials
• Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress regularly
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Identify and support students with learning difficulties
• Encourage students’ participation and personal development
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians when necessary
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities
• Ensure students’ safety and welfare during school hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc (Education) or related qualification
• Strong knowledge of subject area(s)
• Good classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching and child development
• Previous teaching experience is an added advantage
• Basic ICT skills (optional but preferred).

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 monthly.
