Job Title: Sales & Onboarding Officer (E-commerce – Fashion)

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Role Overview

• We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Onboarding & Sales Officer to support the growth of our fashion e-commerce platform.
• This role involves recruiting and onboarding tailors, supporting them in uploading their products, and driving engagement on the platform.
• The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with sales experience (preferably in the fashion industry) who can build relationships, provide support, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new vendors.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Acquisition:

• Identify and recruit skilled tailors and fashion designers to join the platform
• Conduct outreach through physical visits, calls, and digital channels
• Pitch the value of the platform and convert prospects into active vendors.

Onboarding & Vendor Support:

• Guide tailors through the onboarding process from sign-up to activation
• Assist vendors in setting up their profiles and uploading products on the website
• Provide hands-on support to ensure product listings meet platform standards
• Educate vendors on best practices for showcasing their designs online.

Sales & Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with onboarded vendors
• Encourage consistent product uploads and platform engagement
• Identify opportunities to upsell platform features or increase vendor participation.

Product & Platform Support:

• Ensure all uploaded products are accurate, well-presented, and aligned with brand standards
• Work closely with vendors to improve product descriptions, pricing, and visuals
• Monitor vendor performance and provide actionable feedback.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement:

• Gather feedback from tailors regarding platform usability and challenges
• Share insights with internal teams to improve the onboarding experience and platform functionality
• Track onboarding progress and report on vendor activity and conversion rates.

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience in sales, onboarding, or customer-facing roles
• Experience in the fashion industry or working with tailors/designers is a strong advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and guide others on using web platforms
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
