Joseph Ayo Babalola University is licensed by the Federal Government to operate as a faith-based Private University in Nigeria. It is located at Ikeji-Arakeji, along Ilesa- Akure Road, a popular route to the eastern and northern parts of the country. The location is a serene environment particularly suited for scholarship, research and other academic and spiritual activities. The University intends to employ education to bring out moral regeneration, godliness, selfless leadership, positive attitude to work, mutual understanding and love among ethnic, tribal and religious groups. It is a fully residential University.

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Ikeji Arakeji, Ilesa - Osun

The Position

  • The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and the Head of the Registry.
  • The Registrar is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University.
  • The Registrar is also the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants must possess a good University degree not below Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University, and a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • The applicant must not be below the rank of Deputy Registrar with at least five years’ standing.
  • The applicant must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant post-graduation experience in University administration or a related institution.
  • The applicant must not be older than 60 years of age at the time of assumption of duty.
  • The applicant must be a registered member of ANUPA and other relevant professional bodies such as CIPM, NIM, etc.
  • The applicant must be digitally compliant, up-to-date in the use of information and communication technology, and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.

The Person:

  • The candidate must possess vast knowledge of University administration and be transparent, resourceful, and professional.
  • The candidate must be in sound physical and mental health, capable of effectively discharging the responsibilities of the office.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to advise the Vice Chancellor in planning and executing strategies.
  • The candidate must be a Christian, preferably of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas denomination, with a proven record of visionary leadership, innovation, and excellent communication skills.
