We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Phonics Facilitator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To deliver structured Oral English, Diction, and Phonics instruction to students in partner schools, ensuring improvement in pronunciation, communication skills, and language confidence in line with curriculum and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Instruction Delivery:

• Teach Oral English, Diction, and Phonics effectively across assigned schools.
• Deliver lessons in line with approved curriculum and lesson plans.
• Conduct pronunciation drills, reading exercises, and speech development sessions.

Student Development & Assessment:

• Monitor student progress and provide periodic performance feedback
• Conduct assessments to evaluate improvement in speech and communication skills
• Identify students requiring additional language support

Classroom & Professional Conduct:

• Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to school and company policies.
• Serve as a positive communication role model for students.

Reporting & Administration:

• Prepare lesson plans and submit weekly activity reports.
• Maintain attendance and student performance records.
• Participate in training, supervision, and quality assurance reviews.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum NCE / OND / HND / B.Ed / B.A in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field.

Experience:

• 1–3 years teaching or facilitation experience in:

  • Oral English
  • Diction / Phonics
  • Speech or communication training.

Skills & Competencies:

• Clear pronunciation and strong spoken English
• Ability to teach phonics and speech development techniques
• Classroom management skills
• Confidence speaking before children
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching

Working Conditions:

• Deployment to partner schools within Ibadan and other states.
• Structured lesson schedules across assigned locations.
• Training will be provided to ensure teaching standardization.
• Performance-based review and growth opportunity.
