We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all operational activities at our Lagos office.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for personnel management, effective utilization and maintenance of equipment—including trucks and heavy-duty equipment—and driving business growth through sourcing new contracts and leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth running of all activities within the Lagos office
  • Manage and supervise all personnel, ensuring discipline, productivity, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Coordinate workforce planning, task allocation, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure proper management, maintenance, and accountability of all equipment and assets, including trucks and heavy-duty equipment
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, contracts, and partnerships
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support business growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in operations management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Proven experience in managing trucks and heavy-duty equipment
  • Proven experience in business development and contract sourcing
  • Good understanding of equipment and asset management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
