We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership across all civil engineering functions — design, construction execution, and regulatory compliance​
• Lead end-to-end development, review, and approval of civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation​
• Deliver structurally sound designs for foundations, reinforced concrete structures, drainage systems, roads, pavements, and retaining walls​
• Track civil works progress against approved schedules and budgets​
• Lead, mentor, and develop civil engineers, site engineers, and supervisors into a high-performing team​
• Manage multiple stakeholders across full project lifecycles​
• Conduct load assessments and stability checks to ensure long-term safety and durability​
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian construction regulations and international engineering standards​

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) —Master's Degree is a strong advantage
• 7–15 years progressive experience in construction or engineering; senior roles typically require 10–15 years
• COREN registration is mandatory for most senior positions; NSE membership is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated expertise in complex building and infrastructure project management​

Technical Skills Required:

• AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools​
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Orion, and Prokon​
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian and international building codes​
• Project management tools (Procore, MS Project)
