Job Summary
- The Restaurant & Lounge Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a fine dining restaurant and lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and efficient business performance.
- The role involves managing staff, maintaining quality service delivery, driving revenue, and upholding the brand’s luxury and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant and lounge operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with fine dining service standards and company policies.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures, service flow, and overall guest experience.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards in line with fine dining expectations.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Ensure a personalized and memorable dining experience for all guests.
Staff Management & Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, including supervisors, servers, and hosts.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for operations.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and enforce discipline where necessary.
Revenue & Financial Performance:
- Drive revenue growth through effective upselling, promotions, and service excellence.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
Inventory & Cost Control:
- Oversee inventory of beverages, service items, and lounge supplies.
- Ensure proper stock management and minimize waste and losses.
Compliance & Health Standards:
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment.
Brand & Ambience Management:
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand image, ambiance, and fine dining standards.
- Ensure music, lighting, décor, and overall atmosphere align with brand expectations.
Coordination with Kitchen & Bar:
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure timely order execution and consistency in food and beverage quality.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation, staff records, and compliance reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a fine dining restaurant or upscale lounge.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good financial acumen and understanding of restaurant operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
