Role Overview
- We are seeking a results-driven and energetic Sales Agent to drive customer acquisition and vendor onboarding for a fast-growing digital marketplace.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the platform, converting leads into active users, and helping vendors and customers understand the value of the platform — including its flexible Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) offering.
- This role requires strong persuasion skills, relationship-building ability, and a good understanding of digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition:
- Identify, engage, and convert prospective customers to use the platform
- Promote platform offerings, including deals, products, and BNPL options
- Educate customers on how to use the platform effectively.
Vendor Onboarding & Growth:
- Source and onboard new vendors/sellers onto the platform
- Guide vendors through onboarding, product listing, and platform usage
- Maintain relationships with vendors to drive engagement and sales.
Sales Conversion & Revenue Growth:
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to drive conversions
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Product & BNPL Education
- Clearly explain platform features and benefits to customers and vendors
- Promote and educate users on Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) offerings
- Address concerns and objections effectively to close sales.
Market Intelligence & Feedback:
- Gather insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and user experience
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and activities
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1 - 3 years of experience in sales (preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or digital products)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (BNPL knowledge is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
