THE Opportunity
- CHAN is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join its Business Development team. The successful candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Business Development Manager, providing strategic and operational support across the day-to-day administration of CHAN’s two enterprise ventures — CHANMED Table Water Factory and CHAN Guest Inn.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Chanmed Table Water Factory:
- Oversee production, NAFDAC compliance, distribution, and inventory control.
- Drive business growth of the factory.
Quality Management:
- Support quality assurance frameworks and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor performance systems across CHAN’s business units.
Chan Guest Inn:
- Support hospitality operations, guest experience, and revenue optimization.
- Oversee staff and strategic marketing of the Inn.
Specific Duties
- Assist the Business Development Manager in developing and executing business development strategies for all CHAN enterprise units.
- Develop and implement quality management plans; conduct periodic quality audits across business units and document findings.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of CHANMED Table Water Factory including production schedules, quality checks, supply chain coordination, and sales reporting.
- Assist in managing CHAN Guest Inn operations — reservations, customer relations, facilities management, staff scheduling, and revenue reporting.
- Prepare business performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships, vendor relationships, and business opportunities that enhance revenue generation.
- Maintain up-to-date records, databases, and documentation for all business development activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Business Development Manager in furtherance of CHAN’s organizational objectives.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in business development, or enterprise operations.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Professional certification in project management or quality management
- Experience in hospitality management or food/beverage production operations.
- Familiarity with NAFDAC regulations and compliance requirements or ability to learn
- Demonstrated ability to develop business plans, feasibility studies, or market analyses.
- Grants support skill is an added advantage
