Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: SARS Road, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Teach and engage students using effective instructional methods
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and exams
• Maintain discipline and a conducive classroom environment
• Provide guidance and support to students academically and emotionally
• Prepare lesson notes and instructional materials
• Attend staff meetings, training, and school events
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on student progress
• Maintain accurate student records and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field with 2-3 years experience.
• Teaching certification (e.g., TRCN is an advantage)
• Proven teaching experience is preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
• Ability to work as part of a team
