We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure
  • Process payroll and statutory remittances
  • Prepare tax schedules and ensure timely filing of taxes
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and vouchers
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of tax laws and statutory compliance
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
