Job Title: Experienced Online Mathematics Tutor / A Level Pure Mathematics Specialist

Job Summary
- Ajiro Tech is seeking a highly experienced Online Mathematics Tutor who can confidently teach:
- IGCSE Mathematics
- A Level Pure Mathematics (AS & A2)
- The ideal candidate must have complete mastery across both levels and a proven record of excellent student results.
- 100% subject mastery is non-negotiable. Applicants must be ready to write an assessment test and start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, syllabus-aligned Mathematics lessons
- Teach both IGCSE and A Level Pure Mathematics topics in depth
- Simplify complex topics using different teaching strategies and tools
- Prepare students using past papers, exam-style questions, and mock tests
- Train students on exam techniques, problem-solving methods, and mark schemes
- Assign well-structured homework regularly
- Provide timely, detailed marking and constructive feedback
- Track student progress with clear performance reports
- Identify weak areas and implement targeted improvement strategies
- Use interactive online tools (whiteboards, graphing tools, annotations)
- Maintain a supportive yet firm teaching approach
- Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding progress.
Requirements
- IGCSE / Specialist Cambridge & Edexcel
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Mathematics (Pure Maths)
- Complete mastery of Pure Mathematics (AS & A2) — non-negotiable
- Strong understanding of algebra, calculus, functions, trigonometry, and proof
- Ability to break down complex mathematical concepts using multiple teaching approaches
- Exceptional online teaching skills using modern tools
- Ability to assign structured homework with timely marking and detailed feedback
- Teaching style that is patient, detailed, and firm
- Strong lesson organisation and student progress tracking
- Proof of past student success (results required).
