Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited, established in 2009, is a hospitality consultancy firm specializing in providing expert services to small and medium-sized hotels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Staff 

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Summary

• A laundry staff member in a hotel is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and managing all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry to ensure high hygiene and presentation standards.

Responsibilties
Washing and Drying
They sort, wash, and dry items such as:

• Bed sheets
• Towels
• Staff uniforms
• Guest clothing.

Sorting and Handling Fabrics
They separate laundry based on:

• Color (whites, darks)
• Fabric type
• Level of dirt/stains
• This helps prevent damage and ensures proper cleaning.

Ironing and Folding:

• They iron, press, and neatly fold linens and clothes to maintain a professional appearance.

Stain Removal:

• They identify and treat stains using appropriate cleaning methods before washing.

Machine Operation
They operate and maintain laundry equipment like:

• Washing machines
• Dryers
• Pressing/ironing machines.

Inventory Control:

• They keep track of linen stock and ensure there are enough clean items available for daily hotel operations.

Delivering Clean Items:

• They distribute clean linens to departments like housekeeping and return guest laundry on time.

Maintaining Clean Work Area:

• They keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Following Hygiene and Safety Standards

• They use cleaning chemicals properly and follow safety guidelines to avoid accidents.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
