We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Summary

• A maintenance officer in a hotel is responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems are in good working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilties
Repair and Maintenance
They fix faults and carry out routine maintenance on:

• Electrical systems
• Plumbing (pipes, toilets, taps)
• Air conditioning and heating systems
• Furniture and fixtures.

Preventive Maintenance:

• They perform regular checks to prevent breakdowns before they happen, helping the hotel avoid costly repairs.

Equipment Inspection:

• They inspect tools and equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly and safely.

Responding to Fault Reports:

• They quickly attend to maintenance issues reported by guests or staff (e.g., faulty AC, leaking pipes, broken locks).

Safety Compliance:

• They ensure all systems meet safety standards, including fire safety equipment, alarms, and emergency systems.

Facility Upkeep:

• They help maintain the overall appearance of the hotel, including minor painting, repairs, and general upkeep.

Record Keeping:

• They keep records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment servicing.

Coordination with Other Departments:

• They work closely with housekeeping and front desk to resolve room-related issues quickly.

Inventory Management:

• They monitor and manage maintenance tools, spare parts, and supplies.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
