We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Manager

Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• Responsible for managing bakery operations, supervising staff, maintaining product quality, ensuring cleanliness, controlling stock, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations:

• Open and close the bakery.
• Supervise daily production of bread, cakes, pastries, and other items.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Monitor baking schedules and delivery timelines.

Staff Supervision:

• Hire, train, and schedule bakery staff.
• Assign duties to bakers, sales staff, and cleaners.
• Monitor staff performance and discipline.
• Motivate team members to meet targets.

Inventory and Stock Control:

• Monitor raw materials like flour, sugar, butter, and packaging.
• Order supplies when stock is low.
• Reduce waste and control costs.
• Keep accurate stock records.

Quality and Hygiene:

• Ensure bakery follows food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain clean equipment and workspaces.
• Ensure staff use proper hygiene practices.
• Handle health inspections if needed.

Customer Service:

• Attend to customer complaints and feedback.
• Ensure excellent customer experience.
• Handle special orders and custom requests.

Sales and Financial Management:

• Track daily sales and expenses.
• Set sales targets and monitor performance.
• Help with pricing and promotions.
• Prepare reports for management / owners.

Equipment and Maintenance:

• Ensure ovens, mixers, and other tools are working properly.
• Arrange repairs and maintenance when needed.

Requirements / Skills

• Experience in bakery or food service management.
• Knowledge of baking processes and food safety.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer service.
• Basic accounting and stock management.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
