Job Summary
- The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficient scheduling of inspection and testing services, and coordinating resources to meet client and project requirements.
- The role plays a critical part in maintaining service quality, compliance, and timely delivery within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inspection and testing activities in line with client requirements and operational capacity
- Liaise with clients, inspectors, and laboratory teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Prepare and manage job orders, work schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of inspections and reports
- Maintain accurate operational records, documentation, and databases
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Support logistics coordination, including personnel, equipment, and site access requirements
- Assist in resolving operational issues and escalating critical matters when necessary
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and status updates for management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in operations coordination within the oil & gas, inspection, or testing industry
- Strong understanding of inspection processes, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), or laboratory testing services is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and operations management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
