Job Summary
- Responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and integrity of all mechanical systems within the plant, including compressors, pumps, pressure vessels, piping, and rotating equipment.
- The role supports safe and efficient operations through effective maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of mechanical performance.
Job Details
- Maintain and monitor rotating and static equipment; develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures; conduct equipment inspections and condition monitoring; support plant commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities; manage spare parts and maintenance planning; ensure equipment reliability and availability targets are met; participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and safe maintenance practices; enforce permit-to-work systems; identify and mitigate mechanical hazards; support incident investigations; ensure adherence to mechanical integrity standards and safe operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; COREN certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in oil and gas or similar industrial facilities, with hands-on experience in rotating equipment and maintenance system.
