Job Title: Territory Development Executive

Job Description

  • The Territory Development Executive, also known as the Territory Sales Executive, is responsible for developing the sales plan and strategy for the market, ensuring the attainment of company sales goals and profitability in consultation with the Sales Head/GM Sales.
  • The role involves managing sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographical area, building strong customer relationships, and serving as a bridge between customers and the sales team to facilitate product distribution through dealer networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company policies and targets.
  • Manage sales operations within a defined geographical area.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth (minimum of 10% year-over-year revenue growth).
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and client intimacy at all levels (maintain a customer retention rate of 70% and increase new clients by 10% each quarter).
  • Monitor market trends, identify business opportunities, competitor activities, and market threats.
  • Manage key accounts and develop detailed customer profiles for business expansion.
  • Plan and organize customer visits and sales activities effectively.
  • Communicate and network effectively to coordinate between customers and internal sales teams.
  • Monitor performance, track sales progress, and ensure customer satisfaction (achieve a minimum of 80% customer feedback on every product provided).
  • Manage budgeting and cost control related to sales activities and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare accurate sales, collections, and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with team members, motivate, and guide staff where applicable (target a 20% increase in overall team revenue contribution).

Job Requirements

  • HND or B.Sc Degree in a related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or a related industry.
  • Strong exposure to B2B marketing and experience leading a team of 4–5 people.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the assigned location.
  • Flexibility based on business needs; the role is transferable, and posting can occur anywhere in Nigeria.

Salary
N164,000 per month Net.
