African Steel Mills Nigeria Limited - Our client, HFP Paving Stone, is recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• HFP Paving Stone is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical drawings and technical designs to support production and engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and layouts based on specifications and requirements.
• Interpret engineering sketches, concepts, and technical data into precise drawings.
• Modify and update existing drawings as needed.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all drawings.

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification (OND / HND / BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is an advantage).
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawing principles and standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
