Job Title: Host / Hostess

Role Summary

• Own the guest welcome experience by greeting arrivals warmly, managing the seating flow, coordinating with reservations, and ensuring every guest receives an elegant and organized first impression.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, verify reservations, manage walk-ins, and escort guests to their tables.
• Monitor the dining room layout and coordinate seating to balance service flow and maximize guest comfort.
• Manage the waiting list professionally and communicate realistic wait times.
• Handle guest enquiries, birthdays, special occasions, and VIP arrivals with discretion and warmth.
• Liaise with reservations, service staff, and management regarding seating priorities and service timing.
• Maintain the front desk, entrance area, and guest arrival zone to luxury hospitality standards.

Requirements & Competencies

• Minimum of HND.
• Previous host, reception, or guest service experience preferred.
• Excellent personal presentation, confidence, and people skills.
• Ability to stay calm, poised, and organized in a busy service environment.
• Strong communication skills and situational awareness.
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.

Salary
N70,000 - N150,000 per month.
