Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the facility by performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize designated areas, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
• Refill supplies such as soap, sanitizers, and paper products.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly.
• Support deep cleaning activities and special cleaning projects when required.
• Adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining overall facility standards before, during, and after operating hours.

Requirements & Competencies

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle cleaning tasks.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work shifts.
• Minimum of SSCE preferred.
