Job Title: Educator -Nanny (Live-in)

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced and educated Educator-Nanny to provide structured childcare and academic support for a 5-year-old child within a private household in Lagos.
• This role requires a candidate with a strong background in early childhood education who can combine nurturing care with intentional learning.
• The ideal candidate will create a stimulating home environment that supports the child’s academic readiness, creativity, and overall development.

Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Daily Care:

• Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care at all times
• Oversee the child’s daily routine including feeding, hygiene, and rest
• Maintain a structured and consistent daily schedule

Educational Support:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities (literacy, numeracy, phonics, etc.)
• Support homework and reinforce school learning
• Encourage reading, storytelling, and creative expression
• Monitor developmental progress and provide feedback to parents

Behavioral & Social Development:

• Instill discipline, good manners, and positive values
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
• Support emotional well-being and positive behavior management

Household Duties (Child-Focused):

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child
• Handle the child’s laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the child’s room and play areas
• Pack school bags and lunchboxes daily

Activity & Routine Management:

• Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities
• Accompany the child to school, extracurricular activities, and appointments when required

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-8years experience as a teacher, governess, or educator-nanny
• Strong understanding of child development (ages 4–6)
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
• Patient, nurturing, firm, and well-organized
• Ability to implement structured learning within a home environment
• Energetic and proactive

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a private household
• Familiarity with phonics, Montessori, or other early learning methods

Salary and Benefits

• N150,000 monthly (Based on experience and qualifications)
• Feeding Allowance: 50,000.
