Job Title: Territory Development Executive

Location: Minna, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Sales
Reports To: Area Sales Manager (Functional), GM Sales/Business Manager (Administrative)

Job Summary

  • Our client is a food solution manufacturer company they produce localized Additives/ enzymes for flour production in the Milling and Pasta Factories.
  • We seek a Territory Development executive that will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and profitability within the assigned territory.
  • The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring effective distribution through dealer networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify new business opportunities, projects, and market trends to increase sales volume
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts
  • Manage and support dealer/distributor networks for effective product penetration
  • Conduct regular market visits to drive sales and enhance customer engagement
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategy
  • Lead and motivate a small sales team to achieve high performance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and SOPs
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales, collection, and performance reports
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc in a related field
  • 2–3 years proven experience in B2B sales/marketing
  • Experience managing a team (4–5 people)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Role is transferable across Nigeria based on business needs
