Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a competent and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO)who fully understands the responsibilities and ethics of the role.
• The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a CSO or in a senior security position, with strong knowledge of national security protocols, chain of command, and the operational hierarchy of security agencies within Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Supervise and coordinate all security personnel and activities across the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Liaise with law enforcement, military, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
• Manage incident reports and coordinate emergency response when required.
• Ensure staff and asset safety through effective monitoring and control measures.
• Train and evaluate security staff to maintain discipline and compliance.
• Enforce company rules, access control, and visitor management systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all security operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc./HND qualification in Criminology, Security Studies, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Chief Security Officer, Security Coordinator, or similar senior role.
• Deep understanding of security operations, intelligence gathering, and threat prevention.
• Sound knowledge of Nigeria’s security structure and hierarchy of officers.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Background in law enforcement, military, or private security management is an advantage.

Salary
N240,000 - N300,000 / Month.
