Job Title: Safety Manager
Location: Endo, Nasarawa

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enforce health and safety standards at our mining site/factory in Nasarawa.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, promote a safe working environment, and minimize workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management
- Liaise with regulatory authorities on safety compliance matters
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a mining or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
