Job Title: NYSC Legal Associate

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description

  • We are recruiting Corps Members (Legal)to join ourAbuja office
  • We are seeking high-caliber Corps Members (Legal) for our Abuja office.
  • In this role, you are an active member of the legal team, responsible for executing professional legal tasks and supporting the firm's core operations.
  • You will be expected to deliver high-quality work product across domestic and international matters.

Responsibilities

  • Case & File Management: Execute litigation support and advisory services, including drafting court processes and managing client documentation.
  • Contract Administration: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate agreements.
  • Legal Strategy & Advisory: Execute complex legal research to produce high-stakes memos and formal advisory opinions.
  • Regulatory Interface: Conduct filings and manage relations with regulatory bodies (CAC, SEC, etc.) to ensure client compliance.
  • Operational Execution: Handle day-to-day legal administrative tasks essential to the firm's practice.

Requirements

  • Education: LL.B and B.L (Called to the Nigerian Bar).
  • Academic Standing: Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1)from both University and Law School.
  • NYSC Status: Currently serving or posted to Abuja.
  • Competencies: Professional-grade writing, sharp analytical skills, and strict attention to detail.
  • Mindset: A results-driven professional capable of performing in a high-pressure, international environment.
