Job Title: Online Sales Manager
Location: Opebi, Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Level: Mid-level Management
Reports to: GM, Retail Operations
Work Schedule: 5 days a week (includes weekends)
Role Summary
- Drive online revenue growth by building structured sales funnels, and leading the online sales operations
- Oversee all online sales, e-commerce and third-party platform activity (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, X DM, Glovo, Chowdeck etc.)
- Manage the full sales funnel from leads through to conversion and follow up
- Analyse customer behaviour to ensure seamless online shopping experiences for customers
- Collaborate with other departments to create positive customer experience and drive revenue growth
- Align the e-commerce strategy with the company’s overall business objectives
- Setting and tracking online sales targets and KPIs
- Data analytics and performance reporting to the GM.
Job Responsibilities
Digital Revenue Growth:
- Drive the achievement of the online sales revenue targets
- Develop and execute online sales strategies to increase revenue and customer acquisition
- Managing the full sales funnel from leads through to conversion and follow up
- Implement digital marketing initiatives, such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to drive traffic and sales.
Sales Funnel & Conversion Optimization:
- Design, manage, and optimize the customer journey from awareness to purchase, driving revenue through high-converting, targeted marketing funnels
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Run A/B tests on landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and content to maximize conversions
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze key performance metrics (conversion rates, CAC, ROI) using tools like Google Analytics to identify bottlenecks
- Collaboration: Work with content creators, designers, and sales teams to align brand messaging and improve user experience
- Analyze web traffic and sales to optimize sales channels and improve conversion rates.
Third-Party Delivery Platform Management:
- Overseeing all e-commerce and third-party platform activity (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, X DM, Glovo, Chowdeck etc.)
- Managing relationships with third-party vendors, including payment gateways, logistics partners, and e-commerce platforms
- Manage So Fresh accounts on 3rd party delivery platforms
- Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing on 3rd party delivery platforms
- Drive sales, promotion and marketing activities on 3rd party delivery platforms.
Customer Engagement, Sales & Retention:
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction
- Ensure exceptional online customer experiences to drive retention and loyalty
- Provide exceptional customer service to promote customer loyalty and retention
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing
- Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement.
Team & Process Management:
- Recruit and train the online sales team to ensure their effectiveness and continuous improvement
- Lead and manage the online sales department to exceed targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and other departments to optimize the online sales process.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Setting and tracking online sales targets and KPIs
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, traffic, and customer data
- Present sales reports to upper management and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Qualification & Requirements
- BSc Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in online sales management, e-commerce or in a digital marketing role
- Experience in QSR online sales management is desirable
- Strong understanding of digital sales funnels, digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data, and make informed decisions
- Experience with performance marketing, including paid advertising and retargeting strategies
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong financial acumen for managing e-commerce budgets and sales forecasts
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Remuneration
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
