We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recovery Admin Officer

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Admin Recovery Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Recovery Unit by ensuring effective documentation, tracking, and coordination of recovery activities.
  • The role supports collections, legal processes, and asset recovery while maintaining accurate records, monitoring expenses, and facilitating communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
Reminder & Demand Letters:

  • Prepare, issue, and track reminder and demand notices to customers with overdue accounts
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow-up records for all communication.

Recovery Expenses Management:

  • Record, monitor, and report all recovery-related expenses
  • Ensure expenses are properly documented, justified, and approved in line with policy.

Yard & Vehicle Process Management:

  • Coordinate and track repossessed vehicles and assets in the recovery yard
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update asset status regularly
  • Demonstrate basic technical understanding of vehicles to support asset assessment.

Petition & Legal Case Records:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all legal and petition cases
  • Track case progress and update status in internal systems
  • Liaise with legal teams on documentation and case follow-ups.

IRR Calculations & Financial Support:

  • Assist in performing Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculations for recovery cases
  • Support financial analysis and reporting related to recovery performance

Collection Meeting Coordination:

  • Record minutes of recovery/collection meetings
  • Track action points and ensure timely follow-up on decisions taken

Follow-ups with Recovery Team Leads:

  • Send timely reminders to Recovery Team Leads (TLs) on pending actions
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure accountability across the recovery team

Interdepartmental Coordination:

  • Liaise with Head Office departments (Legal, Finance, Operations, etc.) on recovery matters
  • Ensure seamless communication and timely flow of documents

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate databases and records of all recovery activities
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review
  • Ensure data integrity and proper filing of all recovery documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in Recovery and Business administrative support, preferably in banking or microfinance
  • Basic understanding of loan recovery processes is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
