Greenville LNG Company Limited is the pioneer Domestic LNG producer in Nigeria with the objective of extending gas supplies to regions not reached by gas pipelines thereby making available a competitive source of energy to boost the economy. Greenville LNG Plant is in Rumuji near Port-Harcourt and has customer locations in Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Sokoto, Aba and other cities nationwide.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Zone Manager

Locations:
Kano, Lagos and Rivers

About the job

  • Drive and achieve retail sales targets across all existing and upcoming LNG/LCNG stations in Northern Nigeria
  • Identify and execute new station rollout and market expansion opportunities
  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of all stations with high uptime and service standards
  • Manage and grow industrial customer relationships and volumes
  • Lead, supervise, and develop regional teams including station managers, operators, and sales staff
  • Build team capability through training, coaching, and performance management
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, HR, marketing) for seamless operations
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including government authorities, regulators, transport unions, fleet operators, and associations
  • Enforce discipline, reporting standards, and operational compliance across the region
  • Manage regional profitability, cost optimization, and ensure HSE compliance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Retail Sales Volume: Monthly/quarterly LNG/CNG sales vs. target
  • Station Throughput: Average daily sales per station
  • Network Expansion: Number of new stations commissioned and operational
  • Customer Acquisition: Number of new retail/fleet customers onboard
  • Operational Efficiency: Station uptime (%) and turnaround time
  • Team Productivity: Sales per staff / station performance metrics
  • Receivables & Cash Flow: Timely collections and minimal outstanding dues
  • Cost Control: Adherence to regional OPEX budgets
  • HSE Compliance: Zero major incidents and audit compliance scores
  • Stateholder Engagement: Partnerships with unions, fleets, and local authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15–20 years of experience in oil & gas, downstream fuel retail, CNG/LNG, or mobility/transport sectors
  • Proven experience in retail fuel sales, distribution, or station network management
  • Strong exposure to Northern Nigeria market and transport ecosystem preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and multi-location operations
  • Experience in stakeholder management including government bodies and transport unions
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L management experience.
