We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (Oil Palm)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

• Lead and optimize all operational activities (plantation, milling, logistics, and supply chain) to ensure efficiency, profitability, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the MD/CEO in defining and executing strategy.
• Oversee plantation and milling operations to maximize yield, efficiency, and quality.
• Drive mechanization, modernization, and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and track KPIs for performance improvement.
• Lead and develop teams, ensuring productivity and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with RSPO, ISO, and regulatory standards.
• Manage operational risks, stakeholder engagement, and community relations.
• Provide regular operational reports and support board/investor engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years’ experience in agribusiness/plantation operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong experience in oil palm operations, sustainability standards, and budget management.

Professional Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP
• Lean Six Sigma
• RSPO
• ISO
• HSE (NEBOSH/IOSH)
• Relevant professional memberships
