Job Title: Receptionist / Front Desk Officer (Female) – Social Media & Communications Support

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Program Manager / Executive Director

Job Summary

  • We are seeking to hire a smart, professional, and well-spoken female Receptionist / Front Desk Officer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be highly organized, customer-friendly, and capable of managing front desk responsibilities efficiently.
  • In addition to reception duties, the candidate must also have strong skills in social media management, content creation, and communication, supporting the organization’s online presence and brand image.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Reception & Administrative Duties:

  • Welcoming visitors and clients professionally and directing them appropriately
  • Managing front desk operations and maintaining a neat reception area
  • Handling incoming calls, messages, and emails professionally
  • Scheduling appointments and managing office calendars
  • Receiving and dispatching documents, parcels, and correspondence
  • Maintaining records, filing, and documentation
  • Supporting daily administrative and office coordination tasks
  • Assisting management with basic clerical duties when required

Social Media & Communications Duties:

  • Managing the company’s social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Creating and posting engaging content (graphics, captions, short videos, flyers)
  • Developing weekly and monthly content plans
  • Responding to social media messages and inquiries promptly
  • Promoting company services/products online and improving brand visibility
  • Supporting communication activities such as newsletters, announcements, and event promotions
  • Providing basic reporting on social media performance and engagement

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a receptionist or front desk officer
  • Must be female
  • Minimum qualification: OND/HND/BSc in any relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work with little or no supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and email handling)
  • Social media management experience is mandatory
  • Ability to use content tools such as Canva (mandatory)
  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, etc.) are an added advantage
  • Must be presentable, punctual, and professional

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
