Omugwo.com.ng is a family care company which provides professional nannies and caregivers, to care for mothers and their infants; toddlers; the elderly; and children with special needs. We are committed to improving the postpartum experience for mothers especially career women and helping families cater to their loved ones so they can pursue their goals without the guilt of neglecting their families.
The company was founded in 2016 as a result of the co-founder’s personal postpartum experience. She realized that they were many women like her who didn’t have any maternal support after childbirth and saw the need to close that gap. This is how omugwo.com.ng was born.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Operations Associate
Location: Garrison, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Proactively source nannies, caregivers, housekeepers, and other domestic staff.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess experience, skills, personality fit, and availability
- Verify references, employment history, and required certifications; coordinate background checks and police vetting
Client Matching And Placement:
- Review client requirements and household needs in detail
- Match candidates to families based on skills, experience, values, and client expectations
- Present shortlisted candidates to clients with clear, professional profiles; coordinate interviews, trials, and placement start dates.
GeneralOperations:
- Answer and route phone calls; provide accurate information to callers, visitors, and staff
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Prepare, distribute, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and invoices
- Maintain contact lists and both digital and physical filing systems
- Monitor, order, and manage office supplies and equipment inventories
- Submit, track, and reconcile expense reports and administrative documentation
- Ensure smooth office operations, including equipment maintenance and vendor coordination
- Handle confidential information responsibly and provide general administrative support to the team.
Educational Qualification
- HND or BSc Degree in any Management Field
- Experience: 1-2 years.
