We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fish Farm Manager (Aquaculture Manager)

Location: Auchi, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Oversee the daily breeding, feeding, and rearing of fish stock (e.g., Catfish or Tilapia).
• Monitor and maintain water quality parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and ammonia levels).
• Manage fish health by identifying signs of disease and implementing treatment or biosecurity measures.
• Coordinate the sorting, grading, and harvesting of fish for sale.
• Supervise farm laborers to ensure ponds/tanks are cleaned, and equipment is maintained.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Fisheries and Aquaculture, Zoology, or Agricultural Science.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in a commercial fish farm.
• Deep understanding of fish nutrition.
• Experience with different aquaculture systems.
• Strong record-keeping skills for mortality rates, feed usage, and growth tracking.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment near water.
