Job Title: Level 1 Network Operating Officer

Location: Lagos (Shift-based, 24/7)
Employment Type: Contract (Outsourced)
Department: Network Operations Center (NOC)

Job Summary

• Level 1 Network Operating Officer is urgently needed at a Telecommunication Company.
• We are looking for a Level 1 NOC Engineer to monitor network performance, detect faults, and escalate issues to ensure smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems and customer connections
• Detect faults and log incidents using monitoring tools
• Perform basic troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, interface checks)
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineers
• Track and update tickets in the system
• Provide regular updates during incidents
• Prepare daily shift and performance reports.

Requirements

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a telecom or ISP environment
• Basic knowledge of networking (IP, fiber, wireless)
• Familiarity with tools like PRTG, Zabbix, and SolarWinds is a plus
• Certifications (CCNA, Network+) are an advantage.
