Job Title: Head, Business Development (Business Process Outsourcing)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • This role involves overseeing the entire business development lifecycle, including market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
  • The Head of Business Development will play a critical role in aligning business strategies with the company’s mission to provide high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective BPO solutions to clients across various industries.

Responsibilties

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Identify and target new markets and customer segments to expand the company’s client base.
  • Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze market data to develop insights and make informed business decisions.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.

Lead Generation & Sales:

  • Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to tailor BPO solutions to meet client needs.

Reporting & Performance Metrics:

  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, including sales forecasts, revenue targets, and market analysis.

Required

  • A Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • An (MBA) or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the BPO industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies that have led to significant revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of BPO industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.

Salary
N800,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
