Job Summary

• The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure efficient water supply and proper waste disposal.
• The role involves working on pipes, fixtures, and fittings in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Fix leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes promptly
• Install and maintain water heaters, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure proper functioning of water supply and waste disposal systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues as needed
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, or relevant technical certification
• Proven experience as a plumber
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety standards
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively
• Basic understanding of building codes and regulations
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces
• Good communication skills.
