Purpose of Role
Activation Agents will serve as the face and voice of Honey & Banana in communities and will act as a trusted guide and educator, engaging directly with individuals in markets, factories, salons, and community spaces to:
- Raise awareness about sexual and reproductive health
- Promote Honey & Banana as a safe, non-judgmental support platform
- Drive calls and engagement to the toll-free line (7790)
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement:
- Visit assigned locations (markets, factories, salons, campuses, community hubs)
- Initiate conversations around:
- Pregnancy prevention
- Family planning
- Sexual health and wellness
- Educate individuals in a simple, relatable, and non-judgmental way
Brand Activation:
- Distribute flyers, call cards, and promotional materials
- Clearly communicate:
- What Honey & Banana is
- Why it matters
- How to access it (call 7790 / WhatsApp)
- Represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
Call & Conversion Drive:
- Encourage individuals to:
- Call the toll-free line (7790)
- Engage with the WhatsApp chatbot
- Track interest and responses from the field
- Support conversion from awareness to action
Event Support:
- Participate in community activations, outreaches, and events
- Assist in setup, coordination, and on-ground engagement
- Mobilize participants before and during events
Reporting & Feedback:
- Submit daily/weekly reports on:
- Locations visited
- Number of people engaged
- Common questions/concerns
- Estimated referrals to 7790
- Share real insights from the field to improve campaigns
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- Number of daily engagements/interactions
- Number of call referrals to 7790
- Participation in community activations
- Quality of reporting and insights from the field
- Consistent presence and coverage of assigned areas
Who We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualities:
- Outgoing and confident speaking to strangers
- Comfortable discussing sensitive topics (sexual health, family planning)
- Empathetic and non-judgmental
- Energetic and proactive (not waiting to be told what to do)
- Strong persuasion and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in:
- Field marketing / brand activation
- Community mobilization
- Sales or outreach roles
- Familiarity with local communities and languages (Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo is a plus)
Education:
- Minimum: OND / SSCE
- Additional certifications or experience in health/community work is an advantage
Work Structure:
- Field-based role (majority of time spent outside office)
- 5 working days per week (flexibility required)
- Assigned territories within Lagos (expanding to other states).
