Data Entry Clerk at Toki Medical Centre

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Entry Clerk

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Temporary

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Scan physical patient files
• Accurately enter patient data into the hospital's electronic records system
• Achieve a weekly individual target
• Follow established data entry standards, file naming conventions, and patient privacy protocols
• Perform daily self-checks to ensure data accuracy before submission
• Report scanning or software issues promptly to the project supervisor
• Participate in daily progress briefings and weekly review meetings
• Ensure physical files are handled carefully and returned to their designated location after scanning

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar data entry software
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records at all times
• Good time management and ability to meet daily and weekly targets

Desirable:

• Previous experience in data entry, records management, or a hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or hospital information systems
• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Health Information Management,or a related field.
