Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Contract Duration: 3 months (initially)
Work Scope: Workover & Well Intervention
Start Date: Immediate / Urgent

Job Description

• Our client requires an experienced Well Site Leader / Well Site Coordinator (Company Man) to support ongoing workover and well intervention operations in Port Harcourt.
• The role involves full wellsite supervision, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Company Man on site, representing the operator at the wellsite.
• Supervise and coordinate all workover and well intervention activities.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Coordinate contractors, service companies, and third-party personnel.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to approved programs and timelines.
• Review, validate, and approve daily operational and cost reports.
• Manage well control risks and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Maintain clear communication between onshore and wellsite teams.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a WSL / WSC / Company Man.
• Strong and proven background in workover and well intervention operations.
• Solid knowledge of well control, HSE management, and wellsite best practices.
• Proven leadership and decision-making capability under operational pressure.
• Ability to work 21x21 or 28x28 rotational schedules.
• Prior experience working in Nigeria or West Africa is an advantage.
• Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification (preferred).
• Relevant HSE certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience Level: Senior (10+ years).
