We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • Prudence Golden Engineering Service Limited (PGESL) is seeking a driven and result-oriented Business Development Manager with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our team.
  • Only candidates based in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate should apply.

Responsibilties

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive company sales growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities.
  • Follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and close business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Provide weekly and monthly business development reports.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any relevant field.
  • 2 - 3 years hands-on experience in business development, preferably in engineering, oil & gas, or technical service industries.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be proactive, disciplined, and result-driven.
  • Must have good knowledge of the Nigerian business environment.
  • Must be Port Harcourt–based or willing to relocate immediately.
  • Ability to travel for business when required.
  • Professional certifications in sales/marketing are an added advantage.

Renumeration

  • N120,000 – N150,000 monthly, depending on experience and competence.
  • Performance bonuses shallapply.
