Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Reporting Analyst to join our finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and delivering accurate financial reports to support decision-making.
  • This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, and providing insights to improve financial performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Perform financial analysis and variance reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity through regular reconciliations and reviews.
  • Prepare and file statutory tax returns, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and CIT, in line with regulatory timelines.
  • Ensure accurate tax computation, documentation, and remittance to relevant authorities.
  • Support tax audits, queries, and reconciliations with tax authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support statutory and external audits by providing schedules, reports, and explanations.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with cash flow management and working capital analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of financial and tax data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAGE, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Tax experience and Audit Firm experience are Added Advantage
  • Excellent use of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent Knowledge of Financial Systems / Programs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
NGN 400,000 - NGN500,000(Net Monthly)
