Job Summary

• The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfilment and distribution operations across the organization.
• This role ensures that every order moves seamlessly from confirmation to final delivery, maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and cost-efficiency.
• You will manage hub operations, coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, enforce service level agreements, and ensure operational excellence across all distribution channels.
• The role requires strong leadership, hands-on coordination, and the ability to drive performance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end order fulfilment process from confirmed sales order to final customer delivery
• Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all fulfilment and distribution activities
• Monitor daily fulfilment performance, investigating delays, errors, or shortages and ensuring immediate resolution
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including SLA development, performance tracking, and service improvement
• Coordinate national distribution operations across multiple hubs, ensuring efficiency and consistency in service delivery
• Supervise hub operations, including inventory management, storage capacity planning, and outbound dispatch coordination
• Ensure cold chain compliance and product quality standards are maintained across storage and transportation
• Track and report key operational metrics such as delivery timelines, accuracy rates, and service failures
• Conduct regular performance reviews with logistics partners and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Manage operational costs, identify efficiency opportunities, and optimize delivery routes and distribution processes
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth operational flow.

Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or operations management
• Haulage experience
• Strong experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and enforcing SLAs
• Experience overseeing multi-site or multi-hub operations
• Good understanding of order fulfilment processes and distribution networks
• Experience in FMCG, cold chain, or perishable goods distribution is an advantage
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Experience with logistics systems or operations dashboards.

Salary
N350,000 monthly.
