The Position
- Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

- As an intern, you will contribute to Project Bloom, a digital navigation initiative designed to improve breast health equity in Nigeria.
- The project aims to move women from passive awareness to active health-seeking behavior by using a scalable digital model grounded in empowerment theory and connected to a publicly supported and Roche-supported clinical pathway.
- Within your first 3 months, you are expected to help develop a behavioral change blueprint, design a localized UI/UX mock-up with culturally relevant content, create a clinical referral roadmap, and contribute to an impact measurement framework.
- Your work will support more equitable health outcomes by helping women navigate screening pathways with greater confidence, improving early detection, and strengthening the connection between digital engagement and clinical action.

The Opportunity
- Review behavioral science and behavioral economics research to identify evidence-based intervention strategies for Project Bloom
- Map key stakeholders across clinical pathways and community health worker networks, and create a visual stakeholder map
- Design culturally relevant educational content for breast self-examination and clinic navigation in formats such as text, audio, video, and infographics
- Support the development of content that is accessible to women with low literacy and adaptable to major local languages
- Map the end-to-end user journey from app discovery to clinic attendance, including integration with existing clinic scheduling processes
- Develop UI or UX mock-ups using Figma and support project workflow management using tools such as Asana and Excel
- Facilitate focus groups and synthesize feedback from health workers and community members to support iterative design improvement
- Define KPIs and ethical data collection approaches to measure digital engagement, retention, self-check adoption, peer referral, and clinic conversion
Who You Are
- You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Public Health, Digital Health, Behavioral Science, Health Communication, International Development, or Social Sciences within the last 12 months, and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months.
Furthermore, you are:
- Experienced or strongly interested in UX or UI design, qualitative research, content development, data analysis, and project management
- Familiar with mobile health or digital health approaches and interested in behavior change for public health
- Able to turn complex insights into clear user journeys, structured recommendations, and engaging communication materials
- A structured, collaborative, and culturally sensitive self-starter with strong storytelling and stakeholder communication skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba is an advantage
